 |
| What
is the Pre Camp Evaluation? |
| The
Pre-Camp Evaluation is determined on a case-by case
basis and includes the following: |
| 1.
We will give you an introduction to Boot Camp and
answer any questions you may have. We will also review
your medical history as required. |
| 2.
We will take a few simple measurements / teach you
to take your own measurements and maintain a record
to see where you are prior to beginning camp. It does
not matter what the intitial measurements show. These
are strictly for a post-camp comparison. These numbers
and all other information will be held in the strictest
confidence. |
| 3.
We will record your weight and measure your body fat
percentage if determined to be necessary. Again, the
numbers don't matter. We just want to be able to measure
your improvement. Don't be surprised if you see a
3-8% reduction in your body fat over the four weeks!
|
| 4.
5 day campers will receive a Boot Camp T-shirt at
half price - over $10 in savings. |
| 5.
See you at camp! |
|
What
happens if it rains?
If there is a light drizzle, you can assume the session will
take place. If there is a heavy shower, then there is a possibility
the class is cancelled, but to be certain, please call Nitin
Chhoda at the number provided on the business card (on the first
day of camp) at or before 5.15 am (morning class) and 5.45 pm
(evening class) before the class begins to determine if the
class will, indeed, be cancelled. We rarely cancel, and cancellations
only happen in the event of really harsh weather conditions. If
a class is cancelled, we extend the camp to offer a 'make-up'
session so that you don't lose out on a single session affected
by weather.
What
do I need to bring to camp?
You will need to bring one set of 5 or 8 lb. hand weights and
any type of exercise mat. You will also want to bring water
to keep yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a
towel to dry off with and gloves or mittens during cooler months.
Dress in a layered fashion...even if it is chilly, you will
get warm very fast!
What
if I sign up for the three-day plan and then want to do more
days of the camp?
After starting camp, many women realize how fun and convenient
it is so they request to sign up for more days. In addition,
they realize that the more days they attend camp the greater
the results. In these situations, you will simply be pro-rated
from the point you decide to join us for more days.
Will
I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 1-2 weeks. After
that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process
that lets you improve!
What
kinds of people go to camp?
They are people just like you. Someone who needs a little push
to jump start their fitness and wellness program. Some exercise
experience is needed to ensure your safety and a better flow
of class.
Is there
a refund policy?
If you are unable to attend camp due to medical circumstances,
we can offer you a refund only if you provide us with a letter
from your physician explaining the reason for your absence and
bring it our attention before the camp ends . If you
got a discount / special offer to participate in the camp, we
cannot issue a refund under any circumstances, including medical
absences. If you miss camp classes due to any reasons
other than medical emergencies, the missed classes cannot be
credited under any circumstances. This is non-negotiable.
This is a 4 week commitment, and we ask you to hold up your
end by attending for all 4 weeks - make it a part of your life
for the 4 weeks.
What
is a typical day like at camp?
That's difficult to say since each day is intentionally different
to alleviate boredom. You can expect some light running, weight
training, obstacle courses, core training and jumping rope each
week. On special days, we will take a field trip to a different
location. This is subject to weather conditions and is determined
by Nitin, depending on the general fitness level of the class.
It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We teach
you a great deal about proper form and "core stability."
How
soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three
days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four
weeks depending on your effort level. It's becoming common to
see a camper go down 1-2 dress sizes within the first camp.
Remember, everyone is different!
What
will I do after camp is over?
You can get re-measured / re-measure yourself and create a comparison
to show your progress and success in the program. Many (up to
80%) of the campers return for a second and even third camp.
